| This wine was poured to popular acclaim at our Tour de France event in Toronto in February 2005. Some of the attendees noted that the wine was fairly rich, with aromas that reminded them of strawberry and smoked meat. Others found cherries jubilee and cocoa, while still others noted blackberry and cherry drops. All agreed it was nicely dry with a lovely crisp acid balancing out the fruit. Food matches included lamb chops, salmon or veal tenderloin. |
