VEUVE CLICQUOT PONSARDIN VINTAGE

BRUT ROSÉ CHAMPAGNE 2008

With gift box, AC

TASTING NOTE: The pink-orange colored

2008 Vintage Brut Rosé (disgorged March

2015) offers a very delicate, clear and elegant

bouquet with juniper flavors. Clear, elegant

and fresh on the palate, this is a round and

well-structured, yet still very young Rosé with

fine tannins and a nice grip in the finish. This

is a refreshing palate cleanser that needs food

or another 10-20 years to shine. Try it with

pata negra or traditional Japanese dishes.

Drink Date: 2018-2028. Score:

GRAND CRU RIESLING 2013

AC Alsace Grand Cru

TASTING NOTE: 100%Riesling. Intense,

superbly pronounced floral nose, together with

hints of quince and passion fruit, mirrored by

gorgeous fruit on the palate: medium-bodied,

this has a perfect finesse and although light

in terms of structure it boasts oodles of fresh-

ness and a very long finish. Outstanding.

CRU 2014

AC

TASTING NOTE: Grown in fossil-rich lime-

stone, this wine was matured mainly in

a neutral wooden tank with smaller portions

aged in first-, second-, third- and fourth-

vintage oak barrels. The result is a wine with

complex aromas and flavours of flowers,

buttered toast, banana cream, baked apple

and pineapple, all enlivened by crisp acidity.

Elegant and intense. (Vintages panel,
