CHATEAU DES CHARMES MÉTHODE TRADITIONNELLE BRUT
VQA Niagara-on-the-Lake

TASTING NOTE: Pale medium straw; very fine mouse. Yeasty notes are evident from the extended ageing period on the lees, alongside evolved notes of caramelized citrus, stone fruit and toasted bread. Serious concentration overcomes the palate; dry; evolved flavours continue through to the long finish. Nicely done, and at a nice price too, for quality bubbly. Score - 89. (John Szabo M.S., Wine Access 'First In Line E-Report', Feb. 2, 2008)

LA MARCA PROSECCO DI CONGELIANO-VALDOBBIADENE
DOC

Many Proseccos are light sparkling wines that are best enjoyed as palate refreshers. This one is different; it's very aromatic and flavourful. Quite mouth-filling and fruity, this medium-bodied fizz has a remarkably persistent finish. The previous bottling of this wine was number 75 on Wine Spectator's Top 100 Wines list 2007. Expect similar excellence.

YVES LAMBERT CRÉMANT DE LOIRE BRUT ROSÉ

TASTING NOTE: A lighthearted, lightly coloured sparkling Rosé to light up your evening. Valentine's or otherwise. Very refreshing. Get a few for summer fun. Another great value. (Billy Munnelly, www.billysbestbottles.com, Feb. 2, 2008)
