Q. Will food be served at the Walk-around Tastings?

Yes. Vintages provides substantial hot appetizers (e.g. sliders, empanadas and chicken satay), plus a variety of cheeses and other light fare.

Q. Can seating at Winemaker’s Dinners be pre-arranged?

Tables usually accommodate 4-8 guests and Vintages assigns seating. Groups wishing to be seated together should advise Vintages in advance and we will do our best to accommodate.

Q. What is included in my ticket price?

Your ticket includes entrance to the event and the opportunity to taste the featured foods and products.

Q. Is there an opportunity to purchase and take home products after the event?

Many of the products featured will be available to order at the event or for purchase in LCBO Vintages stores. In addition, products featured at events may become available as part of a special online offer. For advance notice of these offers, sign up for our Vintages Latest e-newsletter here. Products ordered at the event will be delivered to your local store. Arrival timelines vary. In some cases, a deposit for your order will be required.

Q: If I buy a ticket for an event, does it guarantee me first chance at the products available for order?

Attendance at an event does not guarantee that order requests by event participants will be filled, as products may be limited and/or may sell out. Vintages reserves the right to apply limits on any product in the interest of equitable distribution.

Q. Do you provide me with a list of wines I am tasting so I can look for them in stores later?

You will be provided with a list of products. Depending on the event, products may be part of a Vintages release and available in store, or you may be able to place an order at the event.

Q. I don't know much about wine. Will someone tell me about what I am tasting?

Knowledgeable LCBO staff, wine agents and producers attend our events to provide you with product information.

Q. What is Vintages doing to promote responsible drinking?

It is mandatory for serving staff at the event to be Smart Serve-certified. For more information on Smart Serve visit smartserve.org. In addition, spittoons and water stations will be available at the event.

Q. What type of glassware will be used at the event?

Glassware varies by event. Ticket holders will be provided with a suitable glass upon arrival.

Q. Can I return or transfer my tickets to someone else if I can no longer attend?

Event tickets are non-refundable. If you are not able to attend the event, you are free to give your ticket to a friend providing they are of legal drinking age. Your guest will be required to produce the ticket and validate the information of the purchase details.

Q. Is there a dress code?

The dress code for our events is business attire. Guests may choose to modify their attire based on the event venue.

Q. What do you do with the photos taken at an event?

Photos may be used for the purpose of showcasing the event experience on vintages.com. Should you not wish to be photographed, simply advise the photographer.
