TASTING NOTE: Made from shiraz, grenache and mataro (otherwise known as mourvedre), this Barossan tawny draws on its 20 year old solera system pedigree to the full. Older wine being drawn off, younger wine being added to keep the stockpot full, so to speak. Plenty of rancio, a smooth and unctuous palate and then a dry finish with the spirit well in control.
