A classic First Growth from ‘the vintage of the century’.
A blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest mostly Merlot, the dark purple-hued 2005 exhibits a restrained but promising nose of cedar, tobacco leaf, creme de cassis, and toasty oak. Full-bodied, tannic, and extremely backward, with the vintage’s tell-tale acidity, it appears to be even more closed in the bottle than it was from barrel. It does possess a long finish and multilayered mouthfeel. This is an undeniably outstanding, yet restrained, shy wine for a Mouton Rothschild. Anticipated maturity: 2018-2040+. Score – 96.”

There is no minimum order size. Quantities are limited. VINTAGES reserves the right to limit quantities per customer.
VINTAGES requires full payment at the time of order placement. Payment can be made by VISA, MasterCard or American Express. If you collect AIR MILES®, please have your number ready. We will only process orders where complete credit card information is provided. Your order will be shipped to the LCBO store of your choice within 4-6 weeks. Please note we do not ship outside the province of Ontario.
